Delhi Capitals signed Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman on Wednesday as replacement for Australian opener Jake Fraser-McGurk for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

Fraser-McGurk, who featured in six matches for the Capitals this season, will be unavailable for the rest of IPL 2025, which resumes from May 17.

Rahman, who made his IPL debut in 2016 with Sunrisers Hyderabad, also represented the Delhi-based franchise in 2022 and 2023, before plying his trade for Chennai Super Kings last season.

The 29-year-old, who had set his base price at Rs. 2 crore, went unsold at the IPL auction last year.

The left-arm pacer has played 106 T20Is for Bangladesh, picking 132 wickets in the format.
