After a halt of one week due to cross-border tensions, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume on May 17. The revised schedule released by the BCCI indicates that the season’s remaining matches will be contested across six venues: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Notably, Chennai and Hyderabad will not host any of the upcoming games.
The tournament’s final is scheduled for June 3, while the venues for the Qualifier 1, Eliminator, and Qualifier 2 playoffs will be announced separately. The updated itinerary features a total of 17 matches, including two instances of teams playing double-headers on Sundays, specifically on May 18 and May 25.
Additionally, the match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC), which was stopped midway in Dharamsala, has been rescheduled to be replayed in Jaipur on May 24.
