The 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume from Saturday, May 17, the League’s governing council confirmed on Monday.
IPL 2025 will now be played in six venues across the country after the restart with the venues of the playoff matches yet to be announced.

The first match will be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at 7:30pm IST, which was originally scheduled to take place on the same date and venue.
In the new schedule several teams will have to play their home matches in different venue.
