The BCCI has also asked the franchises to inform their foreign players about their travel plan.

Most of the foreign players and support staff returned to their homeland the same evening after suspending the IPL on Friday (May 9). Now all the franchises are making arrangements to recall them. It is believed that the BCCI has asked the franchisees to report by Tuesday because it wants to complete the IPL on May 25 (final). In a source associated with the BCCI, told the Indian Express, “All franchises have been asked to report on their respective venue by Tuesday. There will be a neutral venue of Punjab, which is yet to be decided. The board is planning to do more double header, so that the IPL can be completed on time.”

After the announcement of ceasefire between India and Pakistan, IPL chairman Arun Dhumal said, “The ceasefire has been announced, now we are considering the possibility of starting and terminating the IPL again.
