Delhi: In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja has made a special achievement. In the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens, Jadeja dismissed Ajinkya Rahane and became the highest wicket -taking bowler for CSK in IPL. He broke the record of 140 wickets of Dwayne Bravo and took his 141st wicket. Apart from this, he also took 150th wicket for CSK in all T20s.
Jadeja's IPL career has also been excellent. Till now he has played 251 matches in which he has taken 168 wickets. His economy rate is 7.65 and the bowling average is 30.46. His contribution in batting was no less. He has scored 3142 runs so far, with his average of 27.32 and the strike rate is 129.57. The interesting thing is that Bravo, whose record he broke, currently remains a mentor of KKR.

Match condition
Batting first, KKR scored 179 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Captain Ajinkya Rahane scored 48 and Andre Russell scored 38 runs. Russell and Manish Pandey came to the crease and both shared 46 runs in 27 balls.
For CSK, Noor Ahmed took 4 wickets while bowling brilliantly. Apart from them, Anshul Kamboj and Jadeja got 1-1 wickets.
Chasing the target, CSK started very poorly, but with an aggressive innings of Urvil Patel (31 runs in 11 balls) and Dewald Brevis (52 runs in 25 balls), the restrained game of Shivam Dubey (45 in 40 balls and 45 in 40 balls) won the team.
