In the 36th match of IPL 2024, on Sunday (April 21), Kolkata Knight Riders won by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 1 run in a very thrilling match. In this match, KKR had set a target of 223 runs for RCB, chasing which RCB team scored 220 runs and lost the match on the last ball.

After this, Mitchell Starc took the wicket of Karn Sharma on the fifth ball of the over, after which RCB needed 3 runs on the last ball.
This match had become very exciting and Lockie Ferguson also hit a shot on Starc's ball, but in the end Ramandeep caught the ball and threw it straight towards the wicketkeeper. Phil Salt was agile behind the wicket and he blew away the stumps as soon as he caught the ball. In this way, KKR won this match by one run by running out Lockie Ferguson.
