Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be looking to make it to the playoffs when they face Chennai Super Kings at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, rain is likely to disrupt the game in Bengaluru on Saturday, and could spoil RCB’s chances of qualifying for the second round. The weather forecast is not good, with persistent rain in the city over the last few days.

RCB are placed third in the points table, having won seven out of their ten matches. Their performance at home this season has been disappointing, with only one win from four matches at Chinnaswamy. Despite this, Rajat Patidar‘s RCB will be strong favourites against bottom-placed CSK, who have already been eliminated from the playoffs. RCB won their match at Chepauk by a comfortable margin of 50 runs, securing their first victory in Chennai since 2008.

As per Accuweather, there is a 50% chances of precipitation between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM on Saturday.a

The practice sessions of RCB and CSK were impacted by downpour. On Friday, Chennai practiced for just 45 minutes. Rain also forced the hosts to end their session after 45 minutes.

The RCB vs PBKS match in Bengaluru was reduced to 14 overs per side due to rain. Virat Kohli is in great form, with four fifties in his last five innings and a total of 443 runs, making him a strong contender for the Orange Cap. CSK will rely on Ayush Mhatre, Sam Curran, Dewald Brevis, and Shivam Dube.
