GT vs SRH Playing 11: Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans will square off against Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 51st match of the IPL 2025 season on May 02 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Titans have won six out of nine games, with victories coming in games against Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Their defeats come in the games against Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderaabd has onlly three wins out of nine games with their wins comes in the games against Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings.

Their defeats comes in the games against Lucknow Super GIants, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, and two fixtures against Mumbai Indians.

With Gujarat Titans won secured fourth position, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured 9th position of the IPL 2025 points table.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at the toss, SRH captain Pat Cummins said, “We will have a bowl. You never really what you will get. Sometimes it is better to bat at night.”

“We won our first game at CSK’s venue. Hopefully the trend continues here as well. If we win all our games, we still have a chance. We haven’t quite clicked as a team. Last couple of games, we have done better. Same team,” said Cummins.

Meanwhile, GT captain Shubman Gill said, “We would have bowled first as well. Looks like a good wicket. Last game here we played against Mumbai, we batted first as well. The season has been pretty good for us. Nothing changes us for us.”

“This is the time when good team peaks. We are not really looking at the NRR. We are looking to see each game as it is. We have one change. Gerald Coetzee comes in for Karim Janat,” concluded Gill.
