Lucknow: Former Indian batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu has given his opinion on the wicket of former RCB captain Virat Kohli during the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In this episode, Sidhu was seen standing with Kohli and condemned the decision of the umpire.

Sidhu believes that KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana had hit a beamer ball to Kohli and no batsman gets out on this. During this time, he also put Rana in the dock and he believes that the bowler should apologize after bowling such a ball but this did not happen. However, the former Indian cricketer, during his conversation on Star Sports, remained adamant that Kohli was not out.

He said, “I will proudly say that Virat Kohli was not out. If there is such a rule then it should be changed. There should be rules which are in the interest of the game. This was a beamer ball and if any bowler bowls such a ball, he apologises. However, when the ball hit the bat, it was one and a half or two feet above the waist and I think the rules should be changed. A single wicket spoiled the complexion of the match. He was completely not out.”
