Captain Shreyas Iyer played an important role in this victory of Punjab. He played an innings of 72 runs in 41 balls with the bat, but before that he was seen doing amazing in fielding too. In the 16th over of CSK's innings, he did such a great fielding on the boundary that everyone was stunned. Sam Karan hit a long-off on the ball of Suryansh Shedge and it seemed that the ball would go for sixes across the boundary but Shreyas Aiyar standing near the boundary stopped the ball to jump in the air.

However, it could have been a catch, but Iyer knew that he was going to cross the boundary and then he maintained his balance and after catching the ball, he threw the ball inside the boundary.
