Lucknow: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) veteran batsman Virat Kohli lost his temper in the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Let us tell you that this incident happened when Harshit Rana was caught out on a high full toss in one of his overs. After this the umpire declared it out but Virat decided to take DRS and he sent it to the third umpire. However, the third umpire also did not support Kohli and asked him to leave the field.

The 35-year-old looked very angry with this decision of the umpire and the proof of this was also seen on the field. When Kohli was out, he was seen arguing with the on-field umpires and was not happy with the decision. However, no one listened to Virat and the right-handed batsman was seen saying something while leaving the field. People believe that he was seen saying some abusive words. Seeing his behaviour, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can take action against him.

Currently, there is an uproar on social media over the wicket of the legendary batsman. Many people are calling it the right decision while some people are calling it not out. There has been a strong reaction to this on the internet too.

Here are some of the responses included-

Navjot Singh Sidhu told Virat Kohli not out

Former Indian legend Navjot Singh Sidhu disagreed on this matter of Virat Kohli and said, “I will say with full confidence that Virat was not out. This decision was completely wrong. If there is such a rule then it needs to be abolished. At the same time, he also targeted Harshit Rana of KKR and said that Rana bowled beamer, which is against the spirit of the game. After this he needed to apologize but he did not do so. According to me, this decision is wrong and Kohli was not out.”

Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also supported Sidhu and believed that Kohli was given a wrong out and he was not out. However, former all-rounder Irfan Pathan was seen standing with the umpire and called it as per the rules.
