Shubman Gill is currently one of the biggest players in the Indian cricketing scene, and is set to be a leading contender to become India's next captain.

For years, Gill has been linked up with Sara Tendulkar, daughter of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Gill has now finally confirmed his relationship status after all these years.In an interaction with Hollywood Reporter, Shubman Gill confirmed that he has been single for three years, thus ending all speculations and rumours.

He even termed the link-up rumours as 'ridiculous'. "I mean, I've been single for over three years, and so many speculations and rumours link me with different people. And sometimes, it's so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life. And I would be hearing rumours about why I'm with this person and this person, where else I'd be like," said Gill.

'No Space In My Life'

Gill went on to say that he is full focussing on his professional career.

Hence, there is not space in his life to invest 300 days a year to someone. In fact, he is on the road with the Indian team so much that he hardly gets time to spend time with anyone else."Like, I know I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone like 300 days a year. We are on the road travelling somewhere. So there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest, you know, the time to be with someone in a relationship," he added.
