Lucknow: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsmen are in excellent form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and are playing aggressive cricket since the beginning. In this series, the 35th match of the season was played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Hyderabad. In this match, after losing the toss, SRH team came to bat first and scored 266 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. This is the third time in IPL 2024 that the Pat Cummins-led team has scored more than 250.
Seeing this kind of batting of Hyderabad, former Indian opener Navjot Singh Sidhu claimed that SRH could have scored 400 in this match. Let us tell you that Cummins and Company had scored 125 runs in the first 6 overs of this match. Orange Army openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma made a great start to the match and gave an aggressive start to their team. Head had given away 19 runs in the first over itself. However, now talking about this, Sidhu has given a big statement.

He said, “The way Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head started for their team, they could have scored 400 runs against Delhi. For Hyderabad, if wicketkeeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen had stood till the end, the team would have definitely crossed this figure. Klaasen is one of the most dangerous batsmen in this format and he strikes well against fast bowlers and spinners. The good thing for the DC team was that they got out early otherwise more runs would have been scored on the scoreboard.
In this match, Travis Head started aggressively and scored 89 runs in 32 balls. During this period, 11 fours and 6 sixes came from his bat. He completed his half-century in just 16 balls but missed out on scoring a century. Apart from him, Abhishek also hit well and played an inning of 46 runs in 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 6 sixes. So Klaasen's bat did not work in this match and he was out after scoring 15 runs in 8 balls. Klaasen was clean bowled by Delhi's star spinner Akshar Patel.
