The Punjab Kings will go up against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru once again on April 20 during the Match 37 of IPL 2025. This time it will be the Kings who will be hosting the Men in Red at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur in New Chandigarh.

The Shreyas Iyer-led team has had a great tournament so far, where the franchise is currently second on the points table with five wins and two losses in the seven games played. They have already beaten the Bengaluru franchise at home and will be hoping they repeat the same performance at Mullanpur as well.

This time it will be an afternoon game which will test the limits of both teams.

RCB have also had a decent tournament so far, but they will still be disappointed after the loss in the previous game. The side led by Rajat Patidar is currently standing fourth on the points table with four wins and three losses in the seven games they have played. Though they have lost all their games at home so far, they are yet to lose a game outside this season and would like to continue that record going into this game.

Key Player Battles for PBKS vs RCB, Match 37

Shreyas Iyer has had a mixed season so far where though he has played some impressive knocks, he has also struggled to get going in some games as well.

One of the bowlers Iyer has not found a lot of luck against in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has not only dismissed him three times in the tournament but has also kept him quiet. Iyer has a strike rate of only 90 against the pace-bowling stalwart.

2. Virat Kohli vs Arshdeep Singh Virat-Kohli.

This is one of the most interesting battles, where India's best bowler in T20Is comes up against the biggest modern-day great Indian cricket has ever seen. Virat Kohli might have punished the left-arm pacer a lot in the tournament and has a healthy strike rate of 181.81 against him, but the Punjab pacer has also dismissed him twice. On Friday, Arshdeep caught Kohli in front of his pads, which resulted in the batter departing after adding only a run as RCB lost the match.
