KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana has achieved a special achievement in the 31st match of IPL 2025 against Punjab Kings and between Kolkata Knight Riders. He has become an Indian first to do so. Harshit Rana achieved this feat by taking three wickets in power play against Punjab Kings. Earlier, no Indian bowler was able to get three or more wickets in power play. On the basis of this bowling of Harshit Rana, KKR stopped Punjab Kings for only 111 runs in 15.3 overs. This is the lowest score of Punjab Kings this season.

KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana broke his back with the initial wicket of Punjab Kings in the 31st match of IPL 2025.

He took three wickets in power play. He is the first Indian bowler to take three wickets in power play in the history of IPL. Earlier this record was the name of foreign bowlers. Hyderabad Sunrisers captain Pat Cummins, former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, KKR all-rounder Andre Russell, Delhi Capital fast bowler Mitchell Starc, Nathan Kulter-Nile have achieved this feat.
