In the 31st match of IPL 2025 played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings, KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana broke the back of PBKS. He took Punjab Kings in trouble by taking three wickets in power play itself. But another player has a huge contribution on these three wickets. The name of that player is Ramandeep Singh. Ramandeep gave the KKR team a chance to be happy by taking a brilliant three catches. Apart from this, the captain of Punjab Kings was dismissed on a score of zero in this match. Shreyas Iyer has been dismissed for zero after 9 years against KKR.

Ramandeep Singh put hat -trick of catch

In the match played against Punjab Kings, Ramandeep Singh caught three brilliant catch off Harshit Rana.

Due to which the waist of Punjab broke. Punjab Kings lost the first wicket in the fourth over. Harshit Rana threw a short pitch, Priyansh Arya flicked the second ball of the over, but the ball went towards the square leg. Ramandeep Singh caught a simple catch on the boundary. Priyansh scored 22 runs off 12 balls. PBks also lost the second wicket in the fourth over. KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana threw a short pitch outside the fourth ball of stump of the over. Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer played the cut shot, but Ramandeep Singh caught a great cat on deep backward point by putting a brilliant dive. Shreyas could not even open an account. Harshit Rana gave Punjab a fourth blow inside the power play. On the last ball of the powerplay, Harshit threw a short of good length ball outside the off stump. Prabhasimran played the cut shot, but was caught by Ramandeep Singh at the point. Prabhasimran scored 30 runs. Punjab scored 54 runs in 6 overs of Powerplay.

Shreyas dismissed for third time against KKR

Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer returned to the pavilion against Kolkata Knight Riders for zero.

He was caught by KKR fast bowler Harshit Rana at the hands of Ramandeep. Iyer could not even open his account. This is the fifth time in the IPL when Iyer is out on jeer. Whereas against KKR, he has returned to the pavilion for the third time for the third time. He was dismissed twice in the IPL season 2016 against KKR. Apart from this, Iyer was dismissed for zero against RCB in 2016 and against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024.
