Rishabh Pant has returned to form in the Indian Premier League 2024. He is leading Delhi Capitals in the 17th season but the results have been kind to him. The Capital have won three matches while losing four in the new edition. In the game between DC vs SRH, he won the toss and elected to bowl first.

According to him, Delhi Capitals are batting heavy and that’s why he decided to field first against Hyderabad. His statement was termed as shocking by Navjot Singh Sidhu, who slammed Pant for lying.

“It is the biggest lie what Rishabh Pant said. They are not batting heavy. Their batting has been the biggest problem in the season so far and he is talking about firepower in this department.

“Delhi Capitals are still searching for the answers in the batting department. The amount of changes they are making in their playing XI after every match has completely destroyed their combination,’ Navjot Singh Sidhu said.

Delhi suffered a big setback before the start of the match against Sunrisers. Ishant Sharma was ruled out of just five minutes before the toss after suffering from back spasms.
