Karn sharma: Mumbai Indians have made a comeback in IPL 2025 (IPL 2025) by winning the matches played against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. The performance of the Hardik Pandya-led team has been very volatile this season. Out of the six matches played so far, two matches have been able to win Mumbai. On April 13, MI competed with DC in Arun Jaitley, in which he won by 12 runs. At the same time, now while talking about this, Karn Sharma, the player of the match, has made a big disclosure.
After winning the match of Mumbai Indians, Karn Sharma said that it made it easier for him to take wickets due to a change in the ball and he was able to send KL Rahul back to Pavilion. They said,
"I didn't think that there would be dew. There was no dew in the first innings. So when the ball changed, I did not get the seam. It is a good thing that it is a good thing to return to the Mumbai team after six and seven years and started from where he left in 2017. In the match, the Delhi team was scoring 10-11 runs per over and my work was to take wickets in the middle overs.
Karn Sharma believes that Karun Nair and KL Rahul's wicket Girna proved to be the turning point of the match, after these two were dismissed, the innings of Delhi Capitals collapsed and it became easy for Mumbai to win. The left -handed spinner claimed,
"Every wicket is important in such matches, the way he was playing. KL Rahul is definitely a big name for him, who won the last match. Every wicket was important for us. After Karun's dismissal, his rhythm was broken. After that, two -three wickets fell continuously and the match overturned. I am from Meerut and I have known how much will I have to bowl here."
Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians (DC Vs Mi) set a target of 206 runs at the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Delhi Capitals did not start well in response.
Opener Jack Fraser McGark returned to Pavelian without opening an account. However, Karun Nair, who came to bat after him, took the front and started scoring runs by beating Mumbai bowlers. He scored a run at a strike rate of more than 200, he took DC scoreboard to 128 in 11 overs. But then former captain Rohit Sharma present in the dugout showed understanding and gave Karn Sharma a signal to change the ball. In such a situation, Mumbai demanded a new ball from the umpire and then Mitchell Santor gave Karun Nair a clean bold and gave Mumbai a big success. After he was dismissed, DC's wickets started falling, due to which his innings was reduced to 193 runs in 19 overs.
