BCCI sprinkled salt on Delhi Capitals wounds, captain Akshar Patel sentenced hard

Both teams face to face at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium, in which Hardik Pandya & Co. saw amazing in batting and bowlers. Due to this performance, Mumbai Indians managed to snatch the victory from Delhi. At the same time, now captain Akshar Patel has suffered another major setback. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken strict action against him.

On April 13, the 29th match of the 18th season (IPL 2025) of the Indian Premier League was played, in which Delhi Capitals faced Mumbai Indians. The team of Akshar Patel, who won their first four matches, failed to perform well in this clash, due to which they had to face defeat by 12 runs. At the same time, now the BCCI has sentenced the captain severely. In fact, the Indian Board has found Akshar Patel (Axar Patel) guilty against Mumbai Indians, due to which action has been taken against him.

After the DC Vs Mi match, the BCCI released a press release in which he informed Akshar Patel to impose a fine of Rs 12 lakh. The Indian Board wrote that,

"Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel has been fined against Mumbai Indians during an IPL match.

Mumbai Indians got a bang win

Mumbai Indians, who came to bat first after losing the toss, set a target of 206 runs.

During this, Ryan Ricelton scored 41 runs, Suryakumar Yadav scored 40 runs and Tilak Verma scored 59 runs. Naman Dheer remained unbeaten by scoring 38 runs in 17 balls. In response, the innings of Delhi Capitals was reduced to 193 runs. At a time it seemed that the scoreboard was moving fast, but the story changed with the dismissal of Karun Nair in the 11.4th over. After his return to Pavilion, Delhi's wickets began to decline and the entire team was all out in 19 overs.
