Netflix has announced an upcoming documentary series on the cricketing rivalry between India and Pakistan, titled "The Greatest Rivalry".

The first-look announcement video for the documentary has been released by the OTT platform. The video features iconic moments throughout the years between India and Pakistan. The docu-series is expected to go beyond the confines of the cricket pitch and dive even deeper, showing the mental aspect of the marquee clash.

The announcement video features glimpses of Kapil Dev and Imran Khan holding their respective World Cup trophies, with the inclusion of 1947 border imagery, which can be suggestive of the historical inclusion in the documentary.

Meanwhile, the exact release date for the series is yet to be announced, but Netflix's teaser suggests it could be ready for viewing very soon as fans gear up to witness one of the greatest sporting rivalries brought right to their screens.
