Punjab Kings’ opening batter Priyansh Arya bagged his maiden IPL half-century in just 19 balls during PBKS’ clash against CSK at Mullanpur.

Priyansh Arya’s maiden IPL fifty comes in just 19 balls which includes five boundaries and four maximums.

Speaking of the match, Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh opened the innings for Punjab Kings while Khaleel Ahmed opened the bowling attack.

Priyansh Arya kickstarted the innings with a six off the first delivery and became only the fourth batter to do so in IPL history.

Khaleel Ahmed on the second delivery, dropped Arya and made a massive blunter. Priyansh Arya continued to smash the bowler and managed to score 17 runs off the first over which included a no ball. In the very next over, Mukesh Choudhary dismissed Prabhsimran for duck and made an early breakthrough for CSK.

In the followed over, Khaleel Ahmed dismissed PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer for 9 runs and bagged the biggest wicket for CSK. Khaleel again in the fifth over dismissed Stoinis for 4 runs and loaded pressure over the PBKS batting lineup.

Though PBKS lost three wickets in five overs, Priyansh Arya on the other hand continued to strike aggressively and dragged PBKS to score 75 runs for three wickets at the end of first powerplay.

With six of the final delivery of the powerplay,  Priyansh Aryabrings up his maiden IPL fifty in just 19 deliveries.
