The 20th match of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (Mi Vs RCB). Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya batted for the fifth wicket and shared a partnership of 89 runs. By the time these two batsmen were present at the crease, it was being speculated that Mumbai Indians would win the match. But in the 18th over, captain Rajat Patidar gave the ball to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, showing understanding. He broke the wicket of Tilak Verma on the fourth ball and broke the partnership and pushed Mumbai's innings to the backfoot.

Tilak Verma scored 56 runs in 29 balls and Hardik Pandya scored 42 runs in 15 balls.
