Vikram Solanki, the Director of Cricket Operations at Gujarat Titans, heaped praise on Mohammed Siraj, saying that one shouldn't be quick to judge players on the basis of one or two bad performances.
After making a move from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Siraj made a torrid start to his stint for GT after figures of 4-0-54-0 against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
But since then, Siraj has been exceptional, to say the least. He helped the Titans beat the Mumbai Indians (MI) after the speedster had figures of 4-0-34-2. Siraj didn't let his team down against his former team, RCB, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru .
'Sometimes we're very quick to judge'
Before the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Solanki lauded Siraj for being exceptional for them.

"(It has been) exactly the role he's been playing, to be honest with you. He's a fine bowler. It's unfair to say things that haven't been going well for him. He has performed outstandingly well when he has been given the opportunity," Solanki said in the pre-match press conference.
"Sometimes we expect and ask a lot of young cricketers and somebody that has achieved as much as Siraj has. Sometimes we're very quick to judge one or two performances, but he has been exceptional certainly since he has joined us," Solanki added.
In the ongoing IPL edition, Siraj has taken five wickets from three games at an economy rate of 8.91. He is also two wickets short of reaching the landmark of 100 wickets in the T20 tournament.
The Titans are currently placed fourth in the table with four points and a net run rate of 0.807.
