India has become a land of fast bowlers. The emergence of new faces is good news for the sub-continent team. Mayank Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Mohsin Khan and Yash Thakur are performing well in the Indian Premier League 2024. Former India players Ambati Rayudu and Navjot Singh Sidhu think Mohsin Khan is ahead of others.
The left-arm pacer has been sensational for Lucknow Super Giants in the cash-rich league. However, he has missed several matches due to injuries over the course of three years.
The 25-year-old delivered a peach of a delivery to Rachin Ravindra in LSG vs CSK match. The southpaw missed it completely and was clean bowled. Rayudu heaped massive praise on the young bowler.
“He is a different bowler. Mohsin Khan’s bowling action is not like the Indian bowlers. He bowls like Pakistan’s fast bowlers,” Ambati Rayudu said.
Sidhu compared him with Mayank and Khaleel, who have been phenomenal for LSG and Delhi Capitals. “His seem position is perfect. Mayank Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed are also bowling well but Mohsin is number one. India need bowlers like him to win games. The selectors should pay attention to the youngster like him,” Navjot Singh Sidhu said.
He plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. Mohsin doesn’t have an impressive track record in First-class cricket and List A matches. His best performances have come in shortest format. In 48 T20 matches, he has taken 68 wickets at an average of 17.59.
