Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2025. “We will bowl. It looks like a good wicket. I am terrible at reading the wickets. They outplayed us in the final, but some changes have taken place on both sides.

“We have spoken about our batting. We are a bit far away from our best. Reckless batting is not going to help. The boys have been training well, and there are lots of matches to go. Aniket Verma has been amazing for us,” Pat Cummins said.

Ajinkya Rahane would have bowled first as well, had he won the toss.

“The pitch looks good. I am happy with the pitch. I hope it will suit our spinners. When we are playing at home, we should get what we want. We sat together after the last defeat and spoke about the areas where we need to improve.

“Our preparations have been good, and I hope we will perform in the game,” Ajinkya Rahane said.
