Lucknow: Mumbai Indians (MI) young batsman Tilak Verma won hearts during the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) played at Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Stadium, Mullanpur. Tilak played brilliantly in this match and faced 18 balls and played an unbeaten inning of 34 runs with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. The result of his inning was that Mumbai scored 192 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Verma played an important role in taking MI to this score.

Actually, Mumbai has shared a video on its official X account, in which the left-handed batsman is seen giving away his cricket gloves. Sharing this video, MI wrote, “Scored 34*(18) runs, took an important catch and now gave two budding cricketers a reason to believe in their dream.”

The 21-year-old has been excellent with the bat so far this season and has scored 208 runs in 7 matches at an average of 41.6 and a strike rate of 154.07. During this period, he has scored one half-century with his bat and his best score has been 64 runs, which he played against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
