On the one hand, while the legendary players of Team India are showing their glory in IPL 2025, on the other hand, the world's richest cricket board BCCI has made a big announcement. The BCCI has announced the domestic season of the Indian team in the year 2025, in which Team India is going to play 4 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches. The Board of Control for Cricket in India released the schedule of the 2025 domestic season on Wednesday evening. According to this, Team India will have to face Tests, ODIs and T20 matches against West Indies and South Africa. The season will start from October 2 and will run till December 19, in which matches will be played on many new and traditional grounds.
The Indian team's season will start from the Test series, in which two Test matches will be played against the West Indies. The first Test will be held from October 2 to October 6 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, while the second Test will be played from October 10 to October 14 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
After the West Indies, the Indian team will compete fiercely in all three formats against South Africa. The Test series will start from November 14, in which the first match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The second Test will be held from 22 November to 26 November at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, which will host its first Test match. After this, three ODIs will be played in Ranchi on 30 November, Raipur on 3 December and Visakhapatnam on 6 December. At the same time, the series of five T20 matches will start from December 9, in which Cuttack, New Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Lucknow and Ahmedabad will host the matches.
