Delhi: In an exciting match of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 8 wickets. Young batsman Nehal Vadhera's innings was important in this victory. He suddenly got a chance in the playing XI and redeemed it with both hands. Vadhera played an important role in winning the team by playing a brilliant innings of 43 runs. After the match, he revealed that he himself did not even know that he would play in this match.

Lucknow Super Giants had scored 171/7 while batting first, which Punjab Kings achieved in 16.2 overs. Prabhasimran Singh (69 runs) Qan Shreyas Iyer (52*) and Nehal Vadhera (43 runs) played an important role in chasing this goal.

After the match, Vadhera said, “We needed this victory. Shreyas Bhai and all the other players performed well. Our bowlers also bowled brilliantly and the way Prabhasimran batted was amazing.”

Nehal Vadhera also told that he was uncertain about playing in this match. He said, “I was not very nervous, but I did not know that I would play today. So I brought only one kit bag. Later it was discovered that I was included in the playing XI. When I went to bat, I decided to play my shots and take advantage of the opportunities.”
