Glenn Maxwell tried to sledge Nicholas Pooran in the LSG vs. PBKS match in Lucknow. The West Indies batter responded in style. Pooran hit the Punjab Kings player for a four, which he didn’t like. He was seen saying something to the best performer of the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025.

The incident took place in the seventh over of the match. On the fourth and fifth deliveries, Pooran hit the Aussies all-rounder for two boundaries. Maxwell got angry and tried to take on the batter, who didn’t hold back. However, the two decided to turn their backs quickly to start the proceedings.

Pooran amassed 44 runs off 30 balls, with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes before Yuzvendra Chahal got rid of him. Ayush Badoni scored 41 runs off 33 deliveries, packed with 3 sixes and 1 four.

Abdul Samad’s 27 runs off 12 balls took the LSG to 171/7 in 20 overs. He smashed 2 fours and 2 sixes. LSG captain Rishabh Pant, who was bought for INR 27 crore, failed for the third time in the ongoing edition.
