Rishabh Pant's bad form is not taking its name. Pant failed in his third match in IPL 2025 and he failed a hat -trick. Rishabh Pant was able to stay at the crease for only 5 balls against Punjab Kings. The left -handed batsman scored only 2 runs. Punjab Kings easily implicated Pant. Glenn Maxwell was imposed against him in the powerplay and the player took Pant's wicket. Interestingly, Rishabh Pant had made fun of Punjab Kings before the IPL started and now he was dealt with against this team.

Shreyas Iyer implicated Rishabh Pant like this

Rishabh Pant stepped on the crease after Lucknow fell 2 wickets. Lucknow hoped that Captain Sahab would handle the team but it could not happen. As soon as Pant came to the crease, Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer did a wonderful trick. He gave the ball off -spinner Glenn Maxwell's hands, while he was running only the fifth over of the powerplay. Glenn Maxwell covered Pant continuously and then on the fifth ball, the player tried to play a big stroke and Yuzvendra Chahal, standing on the short fine leg, caught an easy catch.

Pant had tightened on Punjab

In the IPL mega auction held in November, Rishabh Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants with a surprise bid of Rs 27 crore. In this way Pant also became the most expensive player in IPL history. Pant was made the captain of Lucknow, then on this occasion he tightened the Punjab Kings. He had said that Punjab had the biggest purse in the auction and Pant said that he had been tension that Punjab should not buy them. Meaning Pant was praying that Punjab should not buy them. But now Pant surrendered as soon as he came in front of Punjab. Obviously, the fans of Punjab must have got cold.
