While fans are enjoying the Indian Premier League. On the other hand, with the debut of this league, a big controversy has also started. This controversy is between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Hyderabad Cricket Association which has reached BCCI. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team management wrote an email to Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and threatened that they would not play matches in Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad. He alleged that the members of the Cricket Board have misbehaved and its presidents are constantly demanding tickets from them. In this regard, Sunrisers Hyderabad has also sent email to BCCI. Now the Hyderabad Cricket Association has described Sunrisers Hyderabad as false. They have rejected the claims of this team.

HCA told Sunrisers Hyderabad wrong

HCA issued a press release, calling Sunrisers Hyderabad wrong. He wrote, "The Apex Council makes it clear that HCA President A. Jagan Mohan Rao did not demand 3900 tickets for the match personally. In the meeting held on February 19, 2025, the chairman proposed to provide tickets to the club secretaries." He further said, 'It is unfair to make false allegations against the HCA president on behalf of SRH officials ... We request all the SRH officials to come forward with an open mind to resolve all the issues.' Let me tell you that Sunrisers are the team of Hyderabad Kavya Maran, who is the daughter of the Maran family as well as a big businesswoman.

HCA was accused of "blackmailing"

On 30 March i.e. Sunday, SRH demanded interfering with BCCI and IPL Governing Council and accused HCA of "blackmailing". However, the Cricket Board rejected all the allegations of SRH. The dispute began when members of HCA demanded and threatened SRH for more Complimentary Pass for IPL matches. Apart from this, it was also alleged that HCA officials locked a box of the stadium on the day of SRH vs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) match, which further increased SRH's anger. Now SRH's next domestic match is to be against Gujarat Titans (GT) on 6 April (Sunday). It will be interesting to see if this dispute is solved before the match or increases further.
