Knowing Wankhede, dew comes, and dew doesn’t come. It is a fresh wicket and there will be some swing as well. The surface is generally good for batting in the second innings. It is a long season, but we want to kick start. Overall, we need to play better cricket, calm down our nerves, and stick to plans,” Hardik Pandya said on Star Sports.

Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane would have bowled first as well. “We wanted to bowl first. I am confused about the wicket, and it is a good toss to lose. We have to put in a good total, and we have bowlers who can defend the total. We did well in the last game as a bowling unit. I am confident that whatever score we put on the board, we can defend that,” Ajinkya Rahane said.
