Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore have been running for years. In the previous season, this rivalry went to its peak, when both teams were contested for the playoffs. Both franchisees have a tremendous fan base and they reach the stadium in large numbers to support their teams. They do not tolerate anything said against their team and they definitely take revenge for it. The same view was seen during the match between RCB and CSK on 28 March. In fact, Bangalore's team wicketkeeper-batsman Jitesh Sharma recently made fun of the fans of Chennai through the song 'Dosa, Idli, Sambhar, Chutney'. So when he was out in this match, the DJ teased him by playing this song.
In Chepock, the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore had got a chance to bat first in 15.2 overs. After the dismissal of Liam Livingston on the third ball of this over, Jitesh Sharma came to bat at number 6. But he could not last long. He scored 12 runs after playing just 6 balls and became a victim of Khalil Ahmed. After being dismissed, when he was returning to the pavilion. The DJ then tried to tease and make fun of them by playing the song 'Dosa, Idli, Sambhar, Chutney' at the stadium. As soon as the song was played, the CSK fans present in the stadium started making noise.
