Ashutosh Sharma is a resident of Ratlam city in Madhya Pradesh. He came to Indore at the age of eight. Here his life was full of difficulties. From the age of 10, he used to cook and wash clothes by himself. Many times Ashutosh had no money and had to earn money by umpiring, which enabled him to have at least one meal a day, but his fortunes changed when former Indian cricketer Amey Khursia joined him in the MPCA Academy.
In 2018, Ashutosh made his debut for Madhya Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The following season he scored 84 runs in T20 matches for MP. Scored two centuries in Under-23 in 2020.
