Lucknow fast bowler Prince Yadav is a resident of Delhi. He was born in Dariyapur village of Najafgarh and started playing cricket from tennis ball. Prince played his first T20 match against Uttar Pradesh in the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which took place just one day before the IPL 2025 mega auction. In this match, he took two big wickets (one established Nitish Rana and Sameer Rizvi) in Delhi's easy win. The next day, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bought them for Rs 30 lakh. In his first Syed Mushtaq Ali season, Prince took 11 wickets with an economy rate of 7.54 and became the highest wicket -taking bowler in Delhi, and played a key role in reaching the team to the semi -finals. After this, he was the most successful bowler for Delhi in the 50-Over Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he took 11 wickets in six matches at an average of 22.00.
This journey of Prince Yadav has started from the local Cricket League of Delhi and reached the IPL. His diversity in bowling and the ability to take wickets at a critical turn of the match has made him special.
