Mumbai Indians (Mi) young left-arm spinner Vignesh Puthur won everyone's heart in his first match of IPL 2025. After the match against Chennai Super Kings, Vignesh took the 'Best Bowler' award in the team's dressing room touching the franchise owner Nita Ambani. This video is going viral on social media. Vignesh performed brilliantly against Chennai Super Kings. He took 3 wickets and the big thing is that he was his first match in the IPL.

Puthur is the son of auto rickshaw driver

Puthur, Puthur, Mallapuram, Kerala, is studying at Petanthalamanna, PTM Government College of Calicut University. His father runs an auto rickshaw while his mother is a housewife. Apart from playing in Kerala Cricket League and Tamil Nadu Premier League for a short time, he has not even experiences first class cricket. Seeing the talent of Puthur in the local league, Mumbai Indians made up their mind to take him into the team.
