He said, “There is some controversy regarding the selection of the Indian team in the T-20 World Cup because there is no clarity yet regarding the place of some players. Pant is also included in the list of such players. However, he is being discussed a lot at the moment. I saw Rishabh playing a shot against KKR, when he hit a no-look six over deep square leg. When he played that shot, I felt that this player should be in the World Cup and he is fully prepared to be there.”

Let us tell you that even though the left-handed batsman stayed away from cricket for 15 months, he has made a wonderful comeback in the IPL. Questions still remain regarding the selection of the team in the World Cup. However, if we talk about wicketkeeper, Rishabh remains the first choice but he will have to continue his form in the future also. The 26-year-old has played a total of 7 matches so far this year, in which he has scored 210 runs at an average of 35 and a strike rate of 156.72. During this period, he has scored two half-centuries with his bat and his best score has been 55 runs.
