But Chamari Atapattu's brilliant innings frustrated South Africa and Sri Lanka achieved the biggest target in women's cricket history. Earlier this record was held by Australia. Australia reached the target of 289 runs against New Zealand almost 10 years ago in 2012, but now Sri Lanka have overtaken Australia's record.
