They are a good team. He has a great bowling line-up. I think it will be a good competition, especially if you play in foreign conditions. that would be awesome.”
He further said, “I understand that the last Test match between India and Pakistan was played in 2006 or 2008 (2007), where Wasim Jaffer scored a double century in Kolkata.”
For your information, let us tell you that the last time India and Pakistan played a Test match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was in 2007. Team India had won the three-match series 1-0.
Vaughan asked Rohit, “Would he like to see a regular series with Pakistan?” The Indian captain said, “I would love to. We want to remain in the competition. I think it will be a great match between both the sides. We play against them in ICC tournaments anyway, so it doesn't matter. I am only interested in pure cricket. I am not watching anything else. The battle between bat and ball. It would be a great competition, so why not.”
