Ever since the Pakistan Cricket Board organized the Champions Trophy, its condition has become bad. This is the reason why he is now cutting the salary of his players. Recently, the issue of lower match fees of Pakistan's domestic cricket players was revealed, now it is reported that the Pakistani board has also reduced the salary of women players. According to the report of Cricbuzz, the match fees of Pakistan's domestic women cricketers have also been reduced from 25,000 Pakistani rupees (PKR) to 20,000 PKR (about 71 US dollars), which is only 6000 rupees in Indian currency. Surprisingly, the salary of domestic women cricketers is less than the workers of Pakistan.

PCB breakup

The PCB has done another breakup besides reducing the match fees of the players. PCB claimed that "with the announcement of 12 months of retainers, PCB aims to expand the talent pool at the grassroots level in women's cricket and motivate young players to adopt cricket as a professional game." However, financial figures are completely opposite to this claim. PCB has increased the number of contracts but the money coming in the hands of the players has reduced. Players are often out of domestic setup in less than two years due to lack of earning occasions through sports.

Delay in contract and low salary

The list of domestic contracts for this season includes 10 capped Pakistani players, 62 emerging players and 18 under-19 players. The list of capped players also includes Nida Dar and Alia Riyaz, who did not get the central contract. This decision was also disputed, because these players have been playing regular for the Pakistani team throughout the season. Apart from this, the domestic contract has been delayed by about nine months, and it has also been learned that the players have been given a monthly retainer of 35,000 PKR i.e. 10000 rupees, which is less than the minimum wage (Rs 11444) fixed for laborers in Pakistan. These decisions of Pakistan Cricket Board have increased difficulties for women cricketers. Due to low salary and low occasions, many talented players may be forced to quit cricket.
