India Masters clinched the inaugural International Masters League title after beating West Indies Masters comprehensively in the Final on Sunday (March 16) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

A combined effort from the Indian stars ensured a comfortable victory for them as they won by 6 wickets, with 17 balls to spare.

Opting to bat, West Indies Masters posted a modest 148/7, built largely around Lendl Simmons' fighting 57 off 41 balls. Brian Lara (6) made a bold statement by opening alongside Dwayne Smith (45), and the duo tore into the new ball, racing to 34 in under four overs.

However, Vinay Kumar halted their charge, dismissing Lara to shift the momentum. Shahbaz Nadeem then removed William Perkins (6) and Smith, putting India Masters firmly in control. The Jharkhand spinner was excellent in the middle overs and stifled the run-scoring big time.

The Caribbean middle order crumbled under pressure, with Pawan Negi and Stuart Binny chipping in. Simmons added 61 runs for the 6th wicket with Denesh Ramdin but they could only reach 148 runs.

Vinay Kumar picked 3 wickets while Shahbaz Nadeem had two scalps to his name.

It was Ambati Rayudu magic with the bat for the Indian Masters who guided the team to a magnificent victory in the championship clash.

In the run chase, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar gave India Masters a blistering start along with Ambati Rayudu. The duo added 67 runs for the opening wicket before Tendulkar departed after scoring 25 runs in 18 deliveries.

Rayudu continued his onslaught and completed his half-century in style. The former Chennai Super Kings player was on song and had no issues to deal with the Carribbean bowlers.

His dismissal came in the 15th over, but only after a superb knock of 74 runs in 50 deliveries.

Yuvraj Singh and Stuart Binny saw out the final runs and helped India to secure the trophy. Binny hit two massive sixes and scored the winning runs
