In the 32nd match of IPL 2024, captain Rishabh Pant brilliantly stumped Gujarat's Abhinav Manohar and Shahrukh Khan in the over of Delhi's part-time off-spinner Tristan Stubbs. In this match being played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Delhi won the toss and decided to bowl.

Part-time off-spinner Stubbs, who came to bowl the 9th over of the innings, bowled the third ball to Manohar on length, slightly outside the off stump. Manohar tried to hit this ball with his foot but the ball did not hit the bat and the ladder went into the gloves of wicketkeeper Pant and he quickly stumped Manohar. The umpire did not give out and pointed towards the third umpire. After this, it was clearly visible in the replay that he was out of the crease. Manohar scored 8 runs in 14 balls with the help of one four.

Stubbs bowled the 5th ball of the same over on length which pitched outside the leg stump, Shahrukh tried to sweep this ball. Because of this he came a step or two ahead. Meanwhile, the gloves of captain and wicketkeeper Pant did not fit well. However, the ball came out of his gloves and hit the leg stump. The umpire did not give out and pointed towards the third umpire. After this, it was clearly seen in the replay that he was out of the crease and the ball nicked Pant's gloves and hit the stump. This ball had gone wide. Shahrukh came in as an impact player but was out on the score of 0(1).
