In the 32nd match of IPL 2024, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant took a brilliant catch with one hand behind the wicket off the ball of Ishant Sharma to dismiss Gujarat's David Miller. Miller could not play the last 3 matches due to injury. While making a comeback against Delhi, he could not make the match memorable.

Ishant, who came to bowl the 5th over of the innings, bowled the last ball on short of good length. Miller tried to play this ball on the on side but the ball went back touching the inside of the bat and the thigh pad. The ball was on the right side of wicketkeeper Pant but Pant took a brilliant catch with one hand while diving. However the on-field umpire gave out. After this Pant took DRS which made it clear that the ball had taken the inner edge of the bat. Miller was out after scoring only 2 runs in 6 balls. Delhi bowlers are bowling well. For this reason, Gujarat could score only 30 runs after losing 4 wickets in the powerplay. On the first ball of this over, Sumit Kumar brilliantly dismissed Sai Sudarshan on the score of 12(9).
