However, former Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu has given a big statement about Jaiswal and compared him with former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. He said, “Whenever I see Yashasvi Jaiswal batting, it feels like Sourav Ganguly is back to bat again. The way he plays shots and his bat swing is exactly like his grandfather.”

Let us tell you that Ganguly was also a left-handed batsman and he also used to open the innings. Apart from this, Sourav used to try to play aggressive cricket from the beginning and like him, Jaiswal also plays attacking cricket. In such a situation, Ambati has now compared him with Ganguly.

Disappointing performance of Yashasvi Jaiswal in IPL 2024

During this period, he has not been able to score a single half-century and his best score has been 39 runs.
