Lucknow: RR fast bowler Avesh Khan took a brilliant catch during the match being played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Garden in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Let us tell you that against KKR, Rajasthan had won the toss and decided to bowl first and after this, the Kolkata team, who came to bat first, did not make a good start and they lost their first wicket at the score of 21 runs.

In this match, Kolkata opener Philip Salt was caught by Riyan Parag at zero but he could not take much advantage of it and Avesh took a brilliant catch and showed him the way to the pavilion. After this he also gave a befitting reply to Captain Sanju Samson.

Actually, Avesh came with the fourth over of this match and was present on salt strike on the third ball of the over. After this he tried to hit Khan's ball but the ball took a thick edge from the bat and stuck to Khan's left hand. This was a brilliant catch which Avesh took. After this he indicated to Sanju that he can easily catch the catch with his hands and after this Samson also took off his gloves and gave them to him and the young fast bowler was seen celebrating this catch.

Let us tell you that during a catch against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Avesh and Sanju clashed with each other due to which the catch was missed. After that incident, Samson was seen telling the star pacer that he had gloves in his hands and he could easily catch the catch. So now after taking this catch, Avesh has given him a befitting reply and told that his hands are enough.

Rajasthan has performed well so far this season and after winning 5 out of 6 matches, they are at the first position in the points table with 10 points. The 27 year old fast bowler has also shown a good performance in this IPL so far and has bowled well in the last overs. However, by taking this catch he has given a befitting reply to his captain.
