Harshit's debut in T20 International was made uniquely. The fourth match of the recent 5-match T20 series between India and England was played in Pune on 31 January. Harshit was not a part of this match earlier, but after Shivam Dubey was injured, Harshit was included as a conversion substitute and took three wickets for 33 runs in T20 I debut. India won this match by 15 runs.

Rana made his ODI debut on 6 February 2025 from the first match of the three -match ODI series against England which was played in Nagpur. Rana took three wickets in this match too. He gave 53 runs in 7 overs. India won by four wickets in this match.

Three wickets for Champions Trophy debut match

On 20 February, Harshit's debut in the Champions Trophy. Rana is playing his first ICC event. Rana also took three wickets in the Champions Trophy debut match. Against Bangladesh, he achieved three successes for 31 runs in 7.4 overs. India defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets.
