Mohammad Nabi refuses retirement

Mohammad Nabi had told in November 2024 that he will retire after the Champions Trophy but now the prophet has changed his mind. He said in a conversation with the ICC, 'Perhaps it will not be my last ODI (Champions Trophy). I will probably play less ODIs and create opportunities for young players. So that they can get experience. This (retirement) will depend on my fitness'.

Prophet wants to play international cricket with son

The 40 -year -old prophet has expressed his great desire. His dream is to play international cricket with his son Hassan Eisakhil. The prophet said, 'I hope and this is my dream, we will be able to achieve it. He (Hasan) is playing very well. For this, his hard work is going on and I also keep motivating him. He accepts my advice and tries to move forward '. The prophet also said for the son that if he wants to become a good player, then you have to continue hard work and also achieve their goal.

Prophet's international career

40-year-old Mohammad Nabi has played only three Tests for Afghanistan but he is a big player from Afghanistan in T20I and ODI. The prophet is seen in the role of an all rounder. He has scored 172 wickets in 170 ODIs with the help of two centuries and 17 Half Century, scoring 3618 runs. While he has scored 2237 runs in 132 T20 International matches and 97 wickets are recorded in his account. At the same time, Nabi's son Hasan has not yet made his debut in international cricket but Hasan has scored 426 runs in 16 T20 matches.
