Hyderabad lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets in the final in IPL 2024.
During the league stage of IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, defeated champions Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians twice.
Each team will play 14 matches during the league stage, which will have a total of 70 matches. The playoffs will be held from May 20 to May 25. Qualifier 1 and eliminators will be held on May 20 and 21 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad respectively. The last two matches of the tournament will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, including the final match to be held on 2 and 25 May.
