Then 4 matches in the final phase will be held in Lucknow and 4 matches in Mumbai. Team, format, rules and prize money

WPL 2025 is taking 5 teams participating. These include Royal Challengers Bangalore (Smriti Mandhana), Gujarat Giants (Aishley Gardner), Mumbai Indians (Harmanpreet Kaur, Captain), Delhi Capitals (Meg Lanning, Captain) and UP Warriors (Deepti Sharma, Captain).

22 matches will be played in the tournament, of which 20 group will be of stage. Each team will have to face the other 4 teams twice. After this, the number-1 team of the group stage will go directly to the final. At the same time, the second and third number team will play the eliminator. Whatever team will win this match, they will make it to the finals.

In the last two seasons, the winning team has been given a prize money of 6 crore while the runner -up team has been given a prize money of 3 crore. At the same time, the player who scored the most runs and wicket-taking got 5-5 lakh rupees. In the final match, the Player of the Match was given Rs 2.5 lakh. Let me tell you that this time the BCCI has not said anything about the change yet. That is, this time too, in prize money, it is going to be similar to the last 2 seasons.
