WPL 2025 is taking 5 teams participating. These include Royal Challengers Bangalore (Smriti Mandhana), Gujarat Giants (Aishley Gardner), Mumbai Indians (Harmanpreet Kaur, Captain), Delhi Capitals (Meg Lanning, Captain) and UP Warriors (Deepti Sharma, Captain).

22 matches will be played in the tournament, of which 20 group will be of stage. Each team will have to face the other 4 teams twice. After this, the number-1 team of the group stage will go directly to the final. At the same time, the second and third number team will play the eliminator. Whatever team will win this match, they will make it to the finals.

In the last two seasons, the winning team has been given a prize money of 6 crore while the runner -up team has been given a prize money of 3 crore. At the same time, the player who scored the most runs and wicket-taking got 5-5 lakh rupees. In the final match, the Player of the Match was given Rs 2.5 lakh.
