With their victory in the second ODI against England, the Indian cricket team not only sealed a series victory over England but also ensured that they no longer hold an embarrassing world record, which now belongs to the 2019 World Champions. For those unversed, England won the toss and chose to bat first and posted a huge total of 305 with Ben Duckett and Joe Root leading the way with half-centuries.

However, India chased the total with 33 balls to spare as skipper Rohit Sharma played a memorable knock of 119 runs in 90 balls. Shubman Gill (60), Axar Patel (44), and Shreyas Iyer (41) played important knocks too.

England Set Embarrassing Record
